What It Is
Two hours, two languages.
Two instructors run the room — one teaching in Spanish, one in English — so the class doubles as a language exchange. We break down timing, frame, and turns step by step, then string them into patterns you can use the same week.
Partners rotate the whole class, so you leave able to dance with anyone in the room instead of only the person you came with. Food from Ama is available if you want to eat before or after.
This Class Includes
Real instruction, no gatekeeping.
Professional Instruction
Taught by Medellín's working dancers and choreographers — not hobbyists.
Beginner Friendly
Every class starts from zero. Steps broken down slowly, then built into patterns.
No Partner Needed
Partners rotate throughout, so you learn to lead or follow with anyone.
Bilingual Language Exchange
Taught by two instructors — one in Spanish, one in English. You pick up the language while you learn the steps.
Social Footwork
Salsa and bachata as they're actually danced in Medellín clubs.
Food From Ama
Order from the Ama kitchen before or after class if you want to make an evening of it.

Questions
Before you come out
How is this different from Dance Night?
This is the class on its own — two hours, no late social. It still runs bilingually, with one instructor teaching in Spanish and one in English. Dance Night wraps the same class inside the full evening.
I've never danced. Is that a problem?
No. Most people walk in with zero experience. The class is built to take you from standing still to dancing a full song.
Can I book a private class instead?
Yes. Private and small-group sessions are available on request — message us on WhatsApp with your dates.
What should I wear?
Clothes you can move and sweat in. Smooth-soled shoes help; sneakers with grip make turns harder.
